Composite Fillings
Initial situation
The patient presented with failing fillings and food lodgement between old fillings leading to sensitivity.
Carried out treatment
After pre-operative X-rays it was decided to re-do both fillings between the molar and premolar. Under local anaesthesia and rubber dam isolation, both failing fillings on the premolar and molar were removed and re-done one at a time with a composite with stains and shades incorporated to look like a natural tooth. This was then followed by adjusting the bite and final polish.
