Immediate implants for a broken front tooth
Initial situation
The patient had extensive treatment a few years ago and now has a lower front tooth that was fractured and unrestorable. Generally, lower front teeth are the smallest teeth in the mouth and are often difficult to reconstruct without damaging the roots of the neighbouring teeth.
Carried out treatment
A 3-D X-ray, digital photographs, and a digital 3-D scan were taken at our London premises. In one session the fractured tooth was extracted and a guided implant, including a temporary restoration and bone augmentation, was placed with accuracy and efficiency. The final restoration was placed two weeks after the initial operation leaving the patient very happy with their restored smile.
