Adhesive (Maryland) Bridge
Initial situation
A congenitally missing lateral incisor was replaced with an unaesthetic temporary tooth.
Carried out treatment
As an alternative to a restoration with implants, we decided on on all-ceramic adhesive bridges (Maryland bridges) in order to be able to restore the smile without a surgical procedure. After an Invisalign i7 treatment for de-rotation of the left central incisor and a small split flap to improve the gum situation for the upper right lateral incisor, a Maryland bridge was placed. The Maryland bridge consisted of an individual framework made of high-performance ceramics, which was then individually veneered.
