Dr. Soenke Harder
The right central incisor of the patient disrupted the aesthetics of the upper jaw significantly being too long resulting in an irregular gingival level.
Carried out treatment:
First, the elongation of the right central incisor via orthodontic extrusion had not worked in the past. Subsequently, the tooth was removed followed by the reconstruction of the bone and gums in two operations. During the surgical phase, Aligner therapy was used to aesthetically straighten the other teeth in the upper and lower jaw. Finally, the tooth could be replaced by an implant and a full ceramic crown.
