15 years old, complaining of spontaneous pain, sensitive to temperature and to bite. Diagnosis of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis was reached for LR7.

Treatment undertaken:
LR7 was investigated using enhanced aseptic techniques and operating microscope. LR7 was treated with direct pulp capping using Biodentine. Tooth was then restored with composite restoration, and it remains vital and asymptomatic.
