GDC No. 108352

Specialist in:
Specialist prosthodontist certified by the German Society of Prosthodontics (DGPro) and the General Dental Council (GDC).

Special interest in:
Implantology certified by the German Society of Implantologie (DGI), bone augmentation surgery, oral surgery, complete rehabilitations (full mouth reconstructions), aesthetic dentistry, reconstructive periodontal surgery, InvisalignÂź, root canal treatment.

I am a qualified prosthetics (dental restorations) specialist with the German Society of Prosthodontics and the General Dental Council and a certified implantologist with the German Society of Implantology. I have been working in dentistry for over 15 years and still find the developments exciting, both, as a scientist and clinician. In addition, I have the privilege to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation as a professor at the University of Kiel. I am also actively involved in the clinical research and development of dental implant systems. My work has already received the Camlog Research Award. Since the exchange of knowledge is an important part of research and further development, I regularly publish in national and international specialist magazines and give lectures at home and abroad by invitation. If you are interested, you can find treatment examples from my everyday practice here.

Dr Raul Costa

Aesthetic and Restorative Dentist

GDC No. 159581

Specialist in:
Biomimetic & Restorative Dentistry

Raul specialises in restorative dentistry, possessing over 16 years of professional experience dedicated to achieving the best clinical outcomes for his patients. Raul approaches his work with careful and conscientious attention to every detail clearly displaying his true passion for the pursuit of excellent dental health.

Raul’s top priority is to ensure that his patients conserve the condition of their newly restored teeth so they remain as intact and stable as possible from this point on. Raul often achieves this goal by simply empowering his patients with the knowledge they need to safeguard their teeth, care for them and protect them from harm. Raul also knows that sometimes, intervention by a restorative dentist such as himself, can be deemed necessary. Should such an occasion present itself in clinic, Raul delivers his professional skills by favouring minimally invasive conventional dentistry techniques and procedures.

Thanks to the latest technology, the high-magnification capability of our state-of-the-art equipment, the careful and meticulous planning of our clinical workflow plus the support of a fantastic in-house team across all departments; Raul can achieve the maximum possible conservation of the tooth structure and still be able to resolve complex dental issues to restore both function and aesthetics with a view to sustaining this clinical success into the long-term.

Raul has a special interest in tooth wear and has achieved remarkable clinical outcomes when reversing the aesthetic and functional damage caused by time and erosion to the dentition by using composite bondings or ceramic veneers where appropriate.

Raul is committed to documenting his professional work exhaustively so please take a moment to view his work on his Instagram profile.
