In recent years, digitalisation has increasingly found its way into dental practices and is taking on a central role in the daily treatment of patients. In this practical course, we explored the possibilities of digital dentistry combined with implantology/implant prosthetics and aimed at creating an overall biological concept for the benefit of the patient.
We focused on the biological prerequisites for long-term aesthetic and functional success. We discussed how exact digital planning and thus, early visualisation of the treatment result, leads to greater patient acceptance for extensive and complex implant prosthetics treatments.
