Raul is a renowned restorative dentist working in London since 2008. He is considered to be an expert in adhesive dentistry such as dental fillings, ceramic restorations, veneers and crowns. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in rehabilitating and managing tooth wear.
Biography
Dr Costa qualified from Lisbon Dental School in 2005 and has been practicing in London since 2008. Keeping his patients’ teeth healthy or restoring them without invasion to they original function and beauty with longevity in mind is at the core of his vision of what dentistry should be: minimally invasive, emulative of nature, durable with maximum aesthetic appeal. Raul’s long-term view ensures his patient’s teeth not only look beautiful today but are functional for the future. He works with world renowned ceramists in order to deliver natural looking, life like, crowns and veneers. He has also vast experience creating nuanced restorations with composite bondings.
Together with a few colleagues from around the world ,he has pioneered a revolutionary technique to prepare teeth for full ceramic restorations, resolving complex dental problems with exceptional outcomes. He is a co-author in a ground breaking scientific paper on the subject and teaches his approach internationally.
