A certified implantologist and prosthodontics specialist with 20+ years in dentistry, I conduct clinical research, teach at University of Kiel, and contribute to implant system development. Recipient of the Camlog Research Award, I frequently publish and deliver global lectures.
In recent years, digitalisation has increasingly found its way into dental practices and is taking on a central role in the daily treatment of patients. In this practical course, we explored the possibilities of digital dentistry combined with implantology/implant prosthetics and aimed at creating an overall biological concept for the benefit of the patient.
We focused on the biological prerequisites for long-term aesthetic and functional success. We discussed how exact digital planning and thus, early visualisation of the treatment result, leads to greater patient acceptance for extensive and complex implant prosthetics treatments.
We would like to thank our staff and Camlog for their fantastic support as well as all the participants who attended and contributed to the day.
