New scientific project

Tooth loss is unfortunately still very common today. Dental caries and periodontal disease are the most common infectious diseases of mankind. Dental implants and their further development have led to a massive increase in the quality of life. As in other areas of medicine, however, the aim should be to further reduce the number of surgical interventions and the duration of treatment in order to reduce people’s suffering. Our new scientific project could make a major contribution to limiting the number of surgical interventions to one day and massively reducing the effective treatment time. This would save many people from the previously standard second or even third surgery and massively accelerate the process of implantation and restoration in terms of time and logistics.
