Our team attend immediate life support training
In May a number of our team attended an excellent training session on immediate life support. By the end of the session, they were trained in:
- Airway Management
- Medical Emergencies
- Emergency Medications
- CPR and the use of a Defibrillator
- Issues relating to NEWS2 ,ReSPECT and DNAR.
The course is vital for staff to know how to offer life support in the rare instance that a patient experiences difficulties whilst sedated. Our attendance at the course is further proof that we’re comitted to ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Our dentist, Prof. Christian Mehl commented,
“It’s so important that we remain vigilent and fully aware of the latest developments in our industry. Attending training courses like this help sharpen our skills and give us practical experience of what to do in the unlikely event one of our patients needs emergency care. The course was excellently managed and very informative.”
