We will be transparent at all times regarding the costs of your treatment. We will explain the value of each treatment including all used materials and their origin, as well as their pros and cons. Together we will find a tailored solution that will improve your health and the appearance of your teeth.

Your medical history

Your medical history or anamnesis (anamnesis stems from the Greek word for “remembering”) helps the dentist treating you to better understand the state of your health. Certain pre-existing conditions or medication you take must be known so potential complications can be avoided.

Information before an operation

What to do before undergoing surgery

Should you experience pain, please refrain from taking aspirin unless it is prescribed by your GP. This is because this medication inhibits blood coagulation so you bleed longer. Ibuprofen or paracetamol can be used instead. If you must take blood thinners, please ensure that you let us know at the beginning of your treatment. After checking with your treating family doctor, internist, cardiologist or GP you may switch to medication that is better compatible with your surgery. This is to minimise the risk of.

What to do after undergoing surgery

  • Please use a disinfecting mouth wash (chlorhexidine gluconate CHX eg Corsodyl) twice a day while leaving at least seven hours in between.

  • Please refrain from drinking alcohol, coffee, black tea or any other acidic drinks for three days.
