Initial Situation

Rosa had faced ongoing dental issues for much of her adult life. Like many people juggling work and family, she had postponed treatment for years, prioritising other responsibilities ahead of her oral health. As a result, her teeth had become increasingly compromised- both structurally and aesthetically.

Rosa’s journey began with state-of-the-art 3D digital planning, allowing Dr Costa and Prof Mehl to assess her entire mouth and plan every detail of her treatment with precision.

Her upper teeth, which were beyond saving due to years of wear and neglect, were gently removed. On the same day, Prof Mehl placed six guided dental implants to support a full upper arch. Rosa left the clinic that day with a beautiful, temporarily fixed bridge – giving her a complete, functional smile without delay.

On her lower jaw, a more conservative approach was taken. The front teeth were still healthy enough to restore, so one received a root canal treatment, followed by six zirconia crowns to strengthen and improve their appearance. The missing back teeth were replaced using two implant-supported bridges, ensuring full bite function and long-term stability.
