Dr Stefan Ciapryna

Biography

Stefan initially graduated from the world-renowned King’s College London University and after several years of undertaking training in sedation and paediatric dentistry, maxillofacial surgery and diplomas in restorative dentistry, he returned to his Alma Mater to undertake a 4-year specialist training programme. He obtained dual distinction degrees as a Member of Restorative Dentistry (MEndo) and Endodontist (MClinDent Endodontology) and was invited to continue as a specialist teacher for the institute where he lectures to this current day.

Stefan travels to various practices all over London and the south of England as a Specialist Endodontist and Restorative dentist, providing specialist endodontic treatment as well as taking on restorative and prosthodontic referrals where he rehabilitates the whole mouth. He also provides the highest standard of aesthetic dentistry to patients. Stefan uses only the most modern treatments and uses an endodontic microscope and 3D CT scanning to give him advanced precision in all his endodontic and restorative work which includes microscopic surgeries.

He teaches these techniques in postgraduate and master’s courses and takes on referrals from other endodontists as well as general dentists.

Stefan is passionate about education and this can be seen in his teaching, both lecturing and attending international conferences, including providing continual professional development evenings for dentists. He is proud to represent Guy’s Dental Hospital which is his NHS base and is the largest postgraduate dental institute in the world and number one ranked in Europe, if not the world.

Stefan takes great pride in his meticulous work, always aiming for perfection. He applies the gold standard techniques to his treatment and ensures the treatment he provides is the most advanced in the field of worldwide Endodontics. His patients consistently appreciate his gentle and compassionate approach.
