Gummy Smile Treatment: teeth grinding, six veneers & gum lift

The patient was a heavy grinder and additionally exhibited too much if the gums when smiling (gummy smile). Hence, the teeth appeared very small resulting in an unesthetic smile.
After obtaining the diagnostic records (panoramic X-ray, digital photographs, 3-D scan) we restored the occlusal surface of the posterior teeth with flowable composite and removed the excess bone and gum for the upper front teeth with a small operation (apical repositioned flap). After a healing period of two months, the upper front teeth from canine the canine were prepared and six veneers were placed.
