The golden rules of aesthetic smiles
In this video, we’ll walk you through a restorative case that showcases how applying golden rules of aesthetic dentistry can transform a smile. The patient had a bridge in the left anterior region, but the results were far from ideal. We focus on addressing these flaws by using principles such as symmetry, gum line alignment, and proper length-to-width ratios.
Patient Overview: The patient, a young lady, was unhappy with her anterior bridge, as it failed to follow key aesthetic guidelines. The central incisors were asymmetrical, the gum line didn’t fit, and the length-to-width ratio of the lateral incisors was off. Additionally, there was a significant colour mismatch between the teeth.
