Case Study: Maryland/Rochette bridge
This patient came to Wimpole Street Dental Clinic with an old resin-bonded Maryland bridge with metal wings and a chip on the lateral incisor.
Dentist:
Prof Dr Christian Mehl
Treatment undertaken:
Out of the usual five options (doing nothing, fitting a removable denture, fitting a conventional bridge, fitting a Maryland/Rochette bridge or fitting an implant), we decided to go for a simple single-winged resin-bonded all-ceramic bridge and a small filling to repair the lateral incisor.
