Case Study: All-on-4
This patient did not like dentists too much and did not go to see one for a decades. The result was loss of a lot of teeth, a serious gum disease, cysts and abscesses. The patient wanted to restore her teeth and promised us regular visits to the dental hygienist.
Dentist:
Prof Dr Christian Mehl
Treatment undertaken:
After thorough diagnostical evaluation (3-dimensional X-ray, photos, models, evaluation of the bite, etc.) we removed the failing teeth, cleaned the teeth in the lower front and placed four implants in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. A temporary was placed in the lower jaw as well as in the upper jaw. The temporary in the upper jaw was fixed to the newly placed implants. Three month later the final screw retained restoration was placed in the upper jaw and in the lower jaw crowns were placed on the natural teeth and bridges on the posterior implants.
