Case Study: Fixed-teeth-in-a-day (Comfour / All-on-4)
The patient came to our city-center dental clinic and presented herself with failing dental implants, gum disease, cysts and abscesses, tooth decay, functional dental problems, and wrong tooth levels.
Dentist:
Prof Dr Christian Mehl
Treatment undertaken:
We used digital diagnostical planning software to help enable us to pre-plan the operation in granular detail in order to achieve the most accurate measurements and best-quality results. In a single session, we were able to remove 17 teeth and seven implants. We then placed four dental implants in the upper and lower jaw plus additional bone augmentation. A temporary was placed in both jaws directly after surgery. The patient returned back to our clinic two months later for a permanent restoration to be fitted.
