Case Study: Immediate Implants (2)
In one of my earlier cases, we gained the confidence that prompt implant placement post-extraction can be successful, even in instances with extensive bone loss and absent buccal lamella. This patient’s journey started with a fall that injured her front teeth when she was just 12 years old. Nearly a decade later, at the age of 21, she approached us seeking a solution for the fistulas that had formed on both teeth.

Treatment undertaken:
Initially, we aimed to preserve the teeth by implementing MTA root canal treatments. However, this approach fell short of our expectations, as the treatment was unsuccessful after a year. With the situation becoming more complex, we decided to insert immediate implants and temporary replacements. This process was bolstered by the augmentation of bone and soft tissue.
