This patient had repeated crown failures on her left lateral incisor, which was now impossible to be saved. We decided for an immediate dental implant.

How does Immediate Implants treatment work?

Step 1: Diagnosis and 3D planning

After ensuring the tooth could not be saved, we proceeded with a 3 D analysis of the jaw bone. An implant was chosen and a surgical guide was 3D printed.

Step 2: Tooth extraction, implant placement
and temporary crown

Immediately after extracting the tooth, the implant was inserted in an ideal position. A tissue graft was performed to improve the volume of the gum. A temporary crown was immediately placed on the implant, so the patient could go home with a fixed secure tooth.

Step 3: Impression

After the maturation of the soft tissue, a final impression with a digital scan was taken.

Step 4: Final

A brilliant technician crafted a final crown resembling exactly like a
natural tooth. The skills of the surgeon are visible on this image, as the
gum around the implant crown looks perfectly natural.
