Case Study: Implants and dental bridge
The patient approached Wimpole Street Dental Clinic after severe periodontitis and the two central incisors fell out spontaneously.
Dentist:
Prof Dr Christian Mehl
Treatment undertaken:
After a very thorough dental hygiene campaign with non-surgical and surgical deep cleaning, we took a number of 3D x-rays and scans in order to obtain an accurate representation of the patient’s mouth. Two fully guided dental implants were placed with the help of the aforementioned 3D imagery. We also undertook bone and connective tissue transplants in order to help encourage stable healing. The final restoration was placed two months after the initial operation.
