Case Study: Invisalign/Composite Bonding
In the 21st century, a common goal for many people, including those seeking dental care, is self-optimisation. Although the patient had teeth that were reasonably well-aligned, she desired a perfect alignment to boost her confidence. In situations like this, it’s important to distinguish between treatments that are medically necessary and those that are elective. Additionally, having a clear plan for the expected outcomes and managing the patient’s expectations is crucial.

Treatment undertaken:
First, the patient underwent an initial hygiene phase, which included routine cleanings and conservative treatments such as fillings. All of her impacted wisdom teeth were also removed. Following this, we used Invisalign to correct the alignment of her teeth and composite bonding to improve the shape of her teeth, resulting in the desired perfect smile.
