Case Study: Worn out teeth repair with Ceramic Crowns
The patient presented with severely crowded and worn-out teeth and a collapsed deep bite leading to an endless cycle of wear and teeth fracture.
Dentist:
Dr Shravan Chawla
Treatment undertaken:
The treatment for this case was as part of an extensive full mouth rehabilitation and bite correction with ceramic crowns. Clear aligners were used to first correct the crowding followed by a detailed step-by-step phased rehabilitation of the bite, first with high-quality laboratory-made customised temporary crowns to test the function and efficiency of the new bite. Once the patient was comfortable and fully settled with the new bite we changed the temporary crowns to ceramic crowns in a planned manner. Post-treatment the patient was provided with a soft night guard to prevent grinding.
