Dr João Silva is a dentist whose main focus is always the patient’s well-being. He is a careful listener and places a strong emphasis on getting to know each one of his patients. He has a very caring and gentle approach to dentistry and likes to explain the proposed dental treatment to the patient’s complete satisfaction.

He qualified from Fernando Pessoa University in Oporto in 2011 and has been practising in England since 2013. He completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Manchester (2014/2016) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Periodontology at Eastman Dental Hospital – University College of London (2019/2022), among many postgraduate courses. Making the correct diagnosis, personalising a treatment plan and executing it with maximum standards is inherent to his work philosophy.

As well as treating complex dental cases João believes that in order to achieve the desired systemic health it is crucial to educate the patients to invest in prevention and oral health instructions.

João likes to balance his work life and enjoys family time, reading and running. João is also a football fan and likes to play with friend and watch games on television.
