Biography

I am a qualified prosthetics (dental restorations) specialist with the German Society of Prosthodontics and the General Dental Council and a certified implantologist with the German Society of Implantology. I have been working in dentistry for over 20 years and still find the developments exciting, both, as a scientist and clinician. In addition, I have the privilege to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation as a professor at the University of Kiel, Germany. I am also actively involved in the clinical research and development of dental implant systems. My work has already received the Camlog Research Award. Since the exchange of knowledge is an important part of research and further development, I regularly publish in national and international specialist magazines, give lectures at home and abroad by invitation and review scientific articles for some of the most important dental journals. If you are interested, you can find treatment examples from my everyday practice on our Before & Afters page.
